About Us

I'm Jubilee, a queer mom with ADHD and a passion for creating sustainable solarpunk art. I have a deep appreciation for the beauty of our planet and a fascination with aliens and speculative biology. 

'The Intergalactic Pet Rescue' is a part of my fiber arts hobby business 'Jubilant Artistry'. 

When I'm not chasing around my 2 year old and 4 year old daughters I'm trying to get all my creativity & ideas out of my head through cosplay, sewing, crochet, or whatever other artistic endeavour has caught my fancy.

I love going to local markets to share my art with other people and find unique treasures from other artists to add to my poster & stuffie collections.

What Solarpunk means to me.

I have always loved science-fiction and strongly identified with aliens. Sci-fi is often dystopian and pessimistic, so I love that solarpunk sci-fi focuses on hope and connection with nature while exploring the fun ideas of future technology and aliens.

 I believe in striving for an optimistic and sustainable future in my art and all aspects of my life.
